The BBC has announced an exciting world-exclusive special featuring Madonna and Graham Norton. The show, titled Madonna & Grahamwill air on BBC One on 26 June 2026 at 10:40pm and will be available on BBC iPlayer for 30 days after transmission.

The special was recorded at the historic KOKO venue in Camdena location steeped in Madonna’s history. It was here that she performed her first UK concert in 1983 and launched her album Confessions on a Dance Floor in 2005.

Madonna and Graham Norton: A reunion of icons

Graham Nortonknown for his wit and charm, expressed his excitement about the interview. “It is always a thrill to interview Madonna,” he said. “To meet her on the dance floor where she first performed in London over thirty years ago felt incredibly special.”

Norton also praised Madonna’s enduring impact, stating, “She remains a legendary pop icon who is still doing what she does best – getting people up to dance!” The special will feature mystery guests, with Stuart PriceMadonna’s long-time collaborator, confirmed to appear.

The creative process behind Confessions II

The special will delve into Madonna’s creative journey, particularly her upcoming album Confessions IIset to release on 3 via Warner Records. The album features 16 new songscontinuing her legacy of dancefloor hits.

Madonna and Price will share stories and inspirations behind the album, offering fans a unique insight into the creative process. The special will also touch on Madonna’s early days in New Yorkher relationship with the UKand her recent performance at Coachella.

Confessions II – The Film: A sneak peek

Just this week, Madonna released Confessions II – The Filmfeaturing celebrity cameos and snippets of three unreleased songs. The film includes the previously released lead single I Feel So FreeBring Your Love featuring Sabrina Carpenterand Love Sensationas well as new tracks Good for the SoulDanceteriaand Read My Lips.

The film is available to watch now on YouTubegiving fans a taste of what to expect from the upcoming album. The special will also be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on July 46-8pm, and will be available on BBC Sounds for 30 days after transmission.

The programme is a So Television production, produced by Andy Rowe with executive producers Graham Stuart and Jon Magnusson. It was commissioned by Jonathan Rotheryhead of popular music TV at the BBC, with Rachel Davies serving as the commissioning editor.
