On October 31, 2026, the penultimate episode of Drag Race UK season eight aired under the banner “The Last Laugh”. The episode was framed as an awards-show-themed roast, where the five remaining contestants—Flesh, Mocha, Naya Thorn, Alik and KY Kelly—were tasked with delivering biting comedy aimed at each other and at eliminated queens from earlier in the series.
The roast challenge and guest judging
Comedian Michelle de Swarte joined the panel as the special guest judge, bringing professional comedy insight to the stage. Each queen performed a short roast segment, using wit and theatrical flair to critique their peers. The backdrop music for the segment was “Showing Out (Get Fresh at The Weekend)” by Mel & Kim, adding a retro pop vibe that amplified the high-energy atmosphere.
Results: winner, safe queens and bottom two
After the performances, the judges deliberated and announced the outcomes. Naya Thorn emerged as the challenge winner, earning a coveted spot in the final. Both Mocha and Flesh were declared safe, continuing their journey to the series finale. The bottom two were Alik and KY Kelly, who faced the possibility of elimination.
KY Kelly’s departure and her response
When the final decision was revealed, KY Kelly was eliminated, ending her run in the competition. In the aftermath, Kelly addressed the controversy surrounding her stint on the show, emphasizing her willingness to grow. She stated, “I recognise that intention and impact aren’t always the same, and I’m always open to listening and learning.” This comment highlighted her reflective stance amid the intense reactions from fans and fellow contestants.
Looking ahead to the finale
With only three queens left—Naya Thorn, Mocha and Flesh—the stage is set for the grand finale of season eight. Viewers can anticipate another round of high-stakes performances, as the remaining competitors vie for the coveted crown. The episode will be available for streaming on WOW Presents Plus, ensuring fans worldwide can catch the concluding chapters of this memorable season.
