The idea for Ella Festival was born about 17 years ago when Kristin Hansen envisioned a place where lesbians could connect in Mallorca. This vision materialized in 2013 when the first Ella Festival was held in Palma. Set at Ca’n Inamor, a beautiful private finca, participants engaged in various activities such as embodiment practices, land art workshops, and voice alchemy sessions. The Ella Opening on August 28 was a highlight of the festival, featuring performances by international artists, a cocktail-style gastronomic experience, and the presentation of the 2nd Ella Inspiring Voices Awards.
