UK's Largest FLINTA* Wellness Festival Moves to West Sussex

The UK’s premier wellness festival for the FLINTA* community, Out & Wild is making a significant move for its 2027 edition. The festival will now take place at the South of England Event Centre in Ardingly, West Sussex from 23 to 26 July 2027.

This relocation brings the festival within a 30-minute drive from Gatwick Airport making it more accessible to international attendees. The move coincides with the festival’s growing global audience, which has seen visitors from over 20 countries in the past year.

Enhanced Accessibility and New Partnerships

To further facilitate travel, Out & Wild has partnered with LGBTQIA+ travel company Destination Rainbow. This collaboration will assist festival-goers with local accommodation and flight arrangements. Polly Shute the founder of Out & Wild, expressed enthusiasm about the new location and partnership, stating, “In the last 12 months, we have had visitors from over 20 countries attend Out & Wild events. Moving to Sussex, and so close to Gatwick, makes travel so much more accessible. We will also be recommending other places to stay on and visit after the festival, working closely with Elle and her team at Destination Rainbow.”

Expanded Festival Offerings

The 2027 festival program promises a diverse range of activities. The Wellness Village will feature yoga, breathwork, gong baths, and movement sessions. For those seeking aquatic adventures, water sports and wild swimming will be available at the nearby Ardingly reservoir.

Music enthusiasts can look forward to DJ sets throughout the weekend, while literature lovers will enjoy the talk tent, which will host authors, poets, and speakers from across the LGBTQIA+ community.

Awards and Recognition

Out & Wild has already made a significant impact in its previous editions. Earlier this year, it was named Event of the Year at the Gaydio Awards and was listed among the Top 20 Lesbian Events worldwide.

Ticket Information

For the 2027 edition, the festival capacity will reach up to 1,500 attendees. Early Bird tickets are now on sale via the official website, outandwild.co.uk with payment plans available to spread the cost over seven months.

Out & Wild continues to be a beacon of inclusivity and wellness, offering a unique experience for the FLINTA* community. As the festival grows, so does its commitment to providing a safe and enriching environment for all attendees.
